Over the course of my career, I have gained substantial, hands-on experience delivering projects ranging from small-scale initiatives to enterprise programs and even carrier‑grade systems. From the early days of Agile development theory, through virtualization, load‑balancing technologies, and Software‑Defined Networking, to Kubernetes, I have examined the IT landscape in depth since 2000.
Nomen est omen: my surname, Prüfer (German for “examiner”), has often landed me in awkward situations—examining is in my blood, and I find it exceptionally difficult not to subject any topic to rigorous scrutiny. For that reason, as of today I have decided to publish ongoing, clear‑eyed analyses of current IT topics as the “IT‑Prüfer” at Der‑IT‑Prüfer.de, and to share my experiences on the most up‑to‑the‑minute developments.
